Polkinghornes Literaturempfehlungen

John Polkinghorne ist nur einer von drei herausragenden Naturwissenschaftlern, die sich in ihrem zweiten Lebensabschnitt theologischen Themen zugewandt haben. Polkinghornes Wirken und Denken ist mit den anderen beiden Naturwissenschaftlern, die diesen Weg gegangen sind, eng verbunden: Ian G. Barbour (* 1923) und Arthur Peacocke (1924-2006). In seinem Buch "Scientists as Theologians" (1996) vergleicht Polkinghorne seinen Ansatz mit diesen beiden Denkern.
